Trips have been made to conferences and exhibitions in the past few months to various locations including some established areas as well as some areas identified for high levels of growth. These include Qatar, Dubai, Houston and Brazil.

The purpose of the trips has been to network with new and existing clients and to promote the site to good quality candidates.

Managing Director, Duncan Freer said:”We have concentrated our efforts in areas of growth and the best means of generating interest in the site is to network with clients and candidates face to face. We have listened to the client’s needs and adapted quickly to accommodate their requests. We have already recognised significant growth in these areas and this coupled with a renewed, highly targeted digital marketing campaign in these areas has consolidated our position in the market. I am confident that we will be able to service these markets extremely efficiently over the next few years.”

The next marketing exercise for oilandgasjobsearch includes a significant level of investment in a stand at the Offshore Europe exhibition in Aberdeen in early September.

Duncan Freer added:”The exhibition attracts around 40,000 people so we are looking forward to meeting as many clients and candidates as we can during the event. We see this as yet another chance to network, listen to and adapt to our site users needs.”

Marketing Manager, John Roberts said: “During these times of lower marketing budgets, many job sites are cutting marketing spend, or turning to purely digital means to market themselves. I realised there was a gap in the market and set about ensuring that our sales team are able to meet the people who matter the most to our business – the site users. All the conferences this year have been a resounding success and we have been able to reach an audience that wasn’t necessarily available to us via digital marketing techniques.”
